The Division of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology treats arthritis and musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, scleroderma, polymyositis, vasculitis, fibromyalgia, gout, ankylosis spondylitis, osteoporosis, and soft tissue sports injuries.
UAB's rheumatology program was ranked No. 6 in the nation for the fifteenth consecutive time in the 2006 U.S. News and World Report "Best Hospitals" issue.
