Ovarian, cervical, and endometrial cancer patients are all invited to attend our meeting the third Friday of each month from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the American Cancer Society Building, 1100 Ireland Way.

Look Good... Feel Better (Birmingham)
When: 4th Monday of each month
Where: The Kirklin Clinic
In this American Cancer Sociey program, trained facilitators teach women how to cope with the skin changes and hair loss that can result from cancer treatments. Look Good... Feel Better meets the fourth Monday of each month from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the first-floor Learning Center at The Kirklin Clinic and is open to all women currently undergoing cancer treatment. Registration is required.

Brooke Hill Ovarian Cancer Education Fund (Decatur)
When: Saturday, April 12 and Saturday, August 23
Where: Burning Tree Country Club
The Brooke Hill Ovarian Cancer Education Fund hosts biannual events focusing on education about and awareness of ovarian cancer. The April 12 event includes a luncheon, fashion show, and educational talk by Dr. Ronald Alvarez; the August 23 event includes a 5K run and 1-mile fun run. The foundation hopes to offer a support group in the future.
