Maybe you have retired from work, are new to town, have an empty nest, and maybe you want to help others in need in your spare time. Whatever your reasons for vounteering, your time and efforts are greatly appreciated. The Adult Volunteer program not only helps the patients and visitors of UAB Hospital but it serves the volunteers as well. You will gain a sense of accomplishment and responsibility. You will also be able to make new friends and interact with many people on a day to day basis.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Volunteer Services at (205)934-4270. Our Adult Volunteers are responsible for serving 50 hours a year. Most volunteers work one four-hour session a week, but schedules can be tailored to your personal needs.
