Marketing Clinical Services:

Here are the steps in the process:
After you contact your assigned marketing manager, a meeting will be held to outline your marketing objectives. Because marketing can result in an increase in patient volume, a member of the operational team will be included in the planning process. Your manager will also include other members of the team that may include: media relations specialists, physician liaisions, internet and advertising specialists.
After this initial meeting the marketing manager will assist you in developing a marketing plan that includes objectives, target audience, timeframe and budget.
Approval and funding: A budget for your project will be developed. Funding for the project will come from the department making the request. If the project supports strategic initiatives currently underway by the UAB Health System, the department may request support from the corporate marketing funds.
Once the funding is approved your marketing manager will assist you in vendor selection and will work with you through the production process.

Recruitment Marketing:
The Recruitment Marketing Division manages any marketing activity involved in recruitment of staff for the UAB Health System administration or UAB Hospital. Marketing activities are coordinated with the Department of HRM. If you need assistance, please contact your assigned recruitment specialist in this department.
