Dr. Gaylon Rogers is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, 1965. He obtained
his medical degree in 1969 from the University of Tennessee and completed a
surgical internship from the Medical College of Virginia the following year.
Upon the conclusion of his internship, Dr. Rogers served as an USN Flight Surgeon
stationed in Pensacola, Florida. He then completed an orthopedic residency at
the University of Tennessee.
He has been in practice some twenty years in Birmingham with Alabama Sports
Medicine at HealthSouth until 1995 and is currently on the active staff at
Medical West, Brookwood Medical Center and St. Vincent's Hospital.
