Director, Internal Audit and Corporate Compliance | FT | 1st | Corporate Compliance | The position is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive plan for performing financial, operational, IT, and regulatory compliance audits. The ideal candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills, experience in policy and procedure development and must be knowledgeable of auditing standards. This positions reports to the CEO/Chairman of the Audit and Compliance Committee, but will work closely with management in all units of the hospital to validate internal controls and recommend reliable corrective measures where necessary. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 3 years experience in internal audit in a healthcare environment with additional consideration given to experience in healthcare compliance investigation. Certification in internal auditing or healthcare compliance preferred, but not required. Experience with Meditech system software a plus. |
