Rehabilitation Psychology

Rehabilitation psychology is an integral part of the rehabilitation process. Clinical services include psychological evaluation, individual and group therapy sessions, and planning and implementing treatment approaches for both inpatients and outpatients. Emphasis is placed on the patient's present level of adjustments, current needs, level of aspiration, verbal and nonverbal communication skills, general social skills, and level of confidence. All of these factors have a direct relationship to the ability to enter into and profit from the rehabilitation process
