IDX Corporation was purchased by GE Healthcare Worldwide in 2005. According to Vishal Wanchoo, president and CEO of GE Healthcare Information technologies, “IDX’s administrative, clinical and imaging information systems complement GE’s rich clinically-focused Centricity® information technology offerings.”
“From a customer perspective, the only change our employees will see is a name change” says, Pandora Hullett-Muhammad, MSO Training & Education Coordinator with the UAHSF MSO Access Services area. Muhammad notes that the MSO will continue to offer the full compliment of access business offerings but packaged under the new Centricity® Business name.
