UAB Pharmacy Therapeutic Policy Management
The Clinical Research Service is responsible for coordinating
investigational medication use within the UAB Health System. The Clinical Research
Service works closely with the medical and pharmacy staffs to manage clinical research
protocols. These activities include obtaining IRB approval, patient monitoring,
randomization and blinding, case report completion, and problem solving. This
service is also integral in departmental research efforts and education of pharmacists,
residents, and pharmacy students.
