MacDonald (Senior Care Clinic)

The UAB Senior Care Clinic provides a wide range of outpatient services for seniors. On site medical laboratory and digital X-Ray equipment ensure that our geriatricians can make this a “one stop shop” for most of our patients. The building is on one level with easy access from the convenient parking lot on the west side of the building.

Within the clinic the Geriatric Assessment Program provides evaluation services for frail, older adults at risk for loss of independence, and the University Primary Care Geriatrics Clinic emphasizes preventive care and health maintenance.

Introduced in July 2004, our consultation program allows patients access to trained geriatricians and specialized services, whilst retaining their family physician.

The Clinic is located on the south west corner of 11th Avenue South and 16th Street South. The parking lot is to the west of the building midway between 15th and 16th streets (adjacent to the Credit Union Drive through).
