Pediatrics - Immunology / Rheumatology

Pediatric Immunology/Rheumatology treats and studies diseases of the immune system in children and operates through the Cellular Immunobiology Unit, supported by both the Lurleen B. Wallace Tumor Institute and the Department of Pediatrics. Research interests include studies of T and B cell differentiation, mechanisms underlying immune deficiency syndromes, studies of the oncogenic events which results in B cell malignancies and investigations into the regulation of the immune response.
