Gynecology is a specialty field in its own right. I do not provide gyn care to my patients but will, at your request, readily arrange for you to see one of our Kirklin Clinic Gyn physicians. I will schedule mammograms and do an annual breast exam. If you have had a hysterectomy, you may not need a Pap smear but should have a pelvic exam at regular intervals. I will be glad to discuss this issue with you at the time of your visit.
