Comprehensive radiation treatments for a wide variety of cancers is offered by the Department of Radiation Oncology, including medical oncology, surgical oncology, and radiation therapy.

Treatment techniques, using state-of-the-art equipment and technology, include radioactive seeds for brain, breast, prostate, and gynecologic cancer, and other select tumors. High energy radiation is used to treat metastatic bone disease and lymphomas. Electron beam radiation is used to treat cutaneous T-cell lymphomas.Intracavity treatment using a high-dose afterloading machine is specified for carcinoma of the of the lung, cervix, uterus, and liver.
