Breastfeeding Mothers' Support GroupUAB Lactation Services is offering a Breastfeeding Mothers' Support Group. It is available for any breastfeeding mother to offer support and information regarding breastfeeding. Diabetes Prevention ClassThe Kirklin Clinic at UAB Medical Center District offers a diabetes prevention class (2nd Thursday of each month from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.) taught by a Registered Dietitian. The class includes information on heart healthy eating, meal planning for weight reduction, incorporating physical activity into lifestyle and much more. A free blood glucose monitor provided.
