The mantra of University Hospital’s Corporate Compliance Program is “Do the right thing”. Simply put, the Hospital is committed to doing what’s right, by complying with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. The Hospital’s Corporate Compliance program strives to foster a culture that encourages this commitment and is responsive to the needs of patients, employees and other constituents. The Hospital values the relationships that it has developed with vendors, business associates and suppliers and expects them similarly to support the Hospital’s commitment to “do the right thing”. It is therefore important that all vendors respect the laws and the cultures within which the Hospital operates.
We place the utmost importance on the observance of the principles of our Code of Conduct and Vendor Compliance Education and expect all with whom we do business to conduct themselves accordingly. All vendors will be held accountable for their actions, and violations of the law or of the policies and principles set forth herein will not be excused or tolerated. Likewise, it is University Hospital’s policy to investigate any suspected violation of the law, and if the conclusion is that a possible violation has occurred, the Hospital will voluntarily report the suspected violation to the appropriate authorities for investigation. It is also University Hospital’s policy to fully cooperate with any government investigation into alleged violations.

However, you are expected to understand and abide by the policies, rules and regulations provided herein as they apply to the services that you provide.
