Finding a doctor has never been easier. Go online to uabhealth.org and click on “Find A Doctor.” Here you can search for a physician in a variety of ways—according to name, specialty, or the disease he or she treats. For example, if you are looking for a doctor who treats breast cancer, you can type in those keywords and the search will bring up all of the UAB doctors who treat that particular condition. You also may search for a physician based on facility location, including UAB’s conveniently located neighborhood health centers, and specialty clinics such as The Kirklin Clinic® at Acton Road.

The directory offers biographical information—including certifications and medical school attended—on more than 700 physicians in 33 different specialties.

Conveniently located on every page of the physician directory is a button allowing you to make an appointment. Once you have located a physician of interest, you have the option to click on this link or you may resume your search.
