UAB’s Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Clinic offers internationally renowned care for couples trying to have children as well as women with gynecological disorders.
The clinic can identify and treat complex infertility and reproductive problems with the most advanced technology and fertility tests in the field. It also offers sensitive, individualized care with the least intrusive treatments available.
The Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Clinic also treats hormonal disorders in women such as irregular menstrual bleeding, abnormal hair growth, recurrent miscarriage, endometriosis, fibroids, and menopause and puberty concerns. It is staffed by three board-certified reproductive endocrinologists, specialists who have completed additional training and certification beyond the standard residency in obstetrics and gynecology.

Meet the New Director
Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
Cynthia Sites, M.D., has joined the UAB Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as the new director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Sites has an interest in taking care of women during all facets of their lives, treating pubertal disorders, infertility, endometriosis, menstrual disorders and menopause issues.
A native of Ohio, she comes to UAB from the University of Vermont where she was the fellowship program director and past medical director of the in vitro fertilization program. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as reproductive endocrinology.
