UAB EatRight Weight Management Program
UAB EatRight is more than just a diet. It's a multifaceted program with diet instruction, behavior modification, support, and exercise to help you make permanent lifestyle changes. In a 12 week series of classes participants learn the alternatives to those foods and behaviors that contribute to weight gain. UAB EatRight provides you with the resources and tools you need to become your own nutrition and weight management specialist.

EatRight Personal Fitness
The Personal Fitness program is a personal training program in which participants workout with a certified personal trainer from the EatRight staff.

Energy drink sales have boomed since 2002, with sales rising as high as $6.6 billion last year. Although these drinks are marketed as a healthful stimulant, consumers should be aware of the potential side-effects, as they can be very harmful to one’s health.

Probiotic literally means “for life.” These are active, live, and good bacteria, also called cultures. In the body, bacteria already live all along the digestive tract, and probiotics work to help provide more good bacteria in our system.
