NORD is a primary nongovernmental information clearinghouse that offers more than 1,150 reports on rare disorders. NORD is accessible through the Lister Hill Library Web site. It contains information about genetically based disorders, as well as more commonly known diseases, such as Alzheimer and Lou Gehrig disease.
