The American Society for Apheresis (ASFA) has awarded Zhaohai Yang, MD, PhD, a PGYI pathology resident, the Nephrology Best Abstract Award for “Effect of plasmapheresis on proteinuria and graft survival in focal segmental glomerulosclerosis postrenal transplantation.” Coauthors are: Angelo M. de Mattos, MD, MPH, Fouad N. Boctor, MD, PhD, Shu T. Huang, MD, and Marisa B. Marques, MD. This award was presented at ASFA’s annual meeting.
