Nominations for the Distinguished Faculty Lecturer Award are being accepted. A nominee must be a full-time, part-time, or emeritus faculty member of either the school of dentistry, health professions, medicine, nursing, optometry, or public health, or joint health sciences departments.
Nominees must have advanced the frontiers of science or otherwise made a significant contribution to the health of people, or made an outstanding contribution to the UAB Academic Health Center through education, research, or public service.
Nominations must include a brief letter of nomination from the person submitting the nomination and the nominee’s current curriculum vitae. April 23 is the deadline for nominations, which should be submitted to Claire Peel, PhD, interim Associate Provost, AB 374, +0103.
