UAB Cardiothoracic Surgical Services is divided into three programs, Adult Cardiac, which treats heart-related conditions; Adult Thoracic, which treats conditions in the thoracic, or chest area – including the lungs, chest walls and esophagus; and, the Pediatric/Neonatal Cardiothoracic Department.
