The Kirklin Clinic, a large, ambulatory facility with more than 30 clinical specialties, serves as a “front door” to University Hospital and delivers quality, outpatient care. The architecturally appealing facility, designed by world-renown architect I.M. Pei, encompasses 430,000 square feet adjacent to the medical center. The fellow will gain exposure to and engage in hands-on projects and activities that relate to the daily operations of the clinic. The fellow will rotate through the clinics as well as the ancillary and support service departments. Depending upon the interests of the fellow, he or she will have the opportunity to experience the professional component of a large physician practice group by rotating through the Health Services Foundation.
