The UAB Hospital Health Club has acquired new treadmills, elliptical trainers, and recumbent bicycles. The facility in 212 Boshell Diabetes Building offers 24-hour, 7-day-a-week access to weight machines, free weights, body sculpting machines, a sauna and large steam room, video and audio equipment, fully furnished locker rooms with towels, upgraded shower facilities, and other amenities.
The $30-a-month health club membership is available as a payroll deduction for UAB employees with no joining fees, hidden charges, or contract requirement.
