Wick J. Many Jr, MD, director, UAB Health Center Montgomery, announces that the Central Alabama Community Foundation has designated the Montgomery Health Center as a partner on a grant of $5000 to Baptist Health Montgomery to provide nutritional education and lifestyle modification training to uninsured patients with diabetes.
Pam Green, director of the Baptist Health Center for Diabetes, and Kenneth P. L. Ligaray, MD, a UAB Health Center Montgomery faculty member and endocrinologist, will work to deliver these services to patients in an effort to enhance management of their diabetes and related metabolic disorders.
