UAB transplant surgeon Carlton Young, MD, and the Alabama Organ Center’s Tommy Frieson will discuss organ and tissue donation from 6 to 7 PM, on April 4 during an online chat on Alabama Live. Anyone can participate by logging on to www.al.com.
Young performs kidney and pancreas transplants as part of UAB’s world-renowned transplant program. Frieson is manager of public education at the AOC, the area’s federally designated organ procurement organization.
